Registration Instructions

STEP 1: Review the class dates and details to confirm the course session you intend to register for is correct and still available. If you see "FULL" next to a course you would like to register for please call 303-566-0182 or email mbt-office@comcast.net to discuss being put on a waitlist. STEP 2: Submit your class registration request by completing the form at the bottom of this page and pushing the yellow "send us your registration" button. STEP 3: A confirmation email and tuition invoice will be sent to you within two business days, once your class registration form has been reviewed by our team. STEP 4: Submit tuition payment, either online through the link included in your invoice email or over the phone by calling our office at 303-566-0182.

ABPA Certification Course-Specific Details

ABPA Tester Certification (40 Hours): This class is intended for those who do NOT hold an ABPA Backflow Tester Certification or are looking for a more comprehensive course before re-certifying.REQUIRED for NEW Tester Certification.
ABPA Tester Certification Renewal (20 Hours): This class is intended for those who already hold an ABPA Backflow Tester Certification.
The ABPA Backflow Tester Certification and Recertification Examinations are split into two parts: a written section consisting of a 100 multiple choice questions, and a performance examination. Upon confirmation of tuition payment you will receive an email with a link to register with the ABPA for our private ABPA Tester Certification Exam session. ABPA is paid directly for the cost of the exam. **As the ABPA exam registration (Tester/Renewal) window closes 15 days prior to each exam, you must register and pay tuition for any ABPA certification class with Morrison Education & Training at least 16 days prior to the exam. For example if you wanted to take an ABPA Backflow Tester Certification class Jan 13-17th;Exam Jan 18th, you would need to complete registration and payment with MET by Jan 2nd and registration with ABPA for the exam by Jan 3rd. Tuition Costs

NEW ABPA TESTER CERTIFICATION - Cost: $950, includes the $50 facility fee for the Saturday exam and the ABPA tester certification course textbook (USC FCCC&HR 10th Edition Manual). ABPA TESTER CERTIFICATION RENEWAL - Cost: $500, includes the $50 facility fee for the Saturday exam. If you need a USC FCCC&HR 10th Edition manual, there will be an additional cost. ABPA Cross-Connection Control - Cost: $850, includes training manual. BACKFLOW REPAIR SKILLS - Cost: $500, includes comprehensive repair manual. Associated ABPA exams are not included in tuition cost. Exams are hosted at our school in conjunction with our classes, but they are run by ABPA. ABPA handles all registration fees and policies directly. We will provide students with the online exam registration links and contact info for ABPA if they have additional questions. While we provide individual attention to each of our students, we cannot guarantee that a student will pass the ABPA Backflow Tester Certification exam. Refunds will not be given based on exam pass/fail status.

American Backflow Prevention Association (ABPA) website
Please note our exam dates and registration are not listed on the ABPA website's public calendar. This is because we host private exams through ABPA, meaning you will need the specific link from us to register for one of our exam dates. Registration for any exam must be completed through the ABPA 15 days prior to the exam. Please email mbt-office@comcast.net with any questions or concerns you may have.
